Who ARE WE?

It started with an idea.

The idea took on a form…

…and grew.

That fledgling form could have ended like so many others right there, but it didn’t.

A simple request to post on a Discord Server asking for anyone interested in being part of that newly evolving form provided the life spark that allowed it to shape and to continue growing.

Ten months and uncounted production hours later and that spark has grown into a community of nearly thirty people lending their support to create New Dawn.

New Dawn is a full cast Audio Drama driven and created through role play using the Delta Green tabletop role playing game.

With a main cast of two, guest appearances, and a voice call of twenty seven (and counting) folks from around the ttrpg community, New Dawn is something new.

Set in the current day, New Dawn follows the investigations and lives of FBI Special Agents Armitage and Goodnall as they delve ever deeper and deeper into the world that we do not see and that governments don’t want you to know about.

With a lifelong love of audio drama and a deep interest in narratively driven horror tabletop role playing games – New Dawn was conceived and is written, Game Mastered, scripted, edited and produced by Charlie Creek.

Originally trained as a musician, photographer, graphic designer and fine artist Charlie Creek worked in local, then regional and eventually for many years in National and International publishing.

During this time and with a love of the audio medium Charlie became one of the very first podcasters in the UK. The journey started in 2001 with Charlie applying his love of the audio medium and learning the craft of creating and producing audio which resulted in his writing and producing several shows.

“One of the joys of the audio medium is shaping the world that the listener hears and drawing them into that ‘suggested’ world that then takes on a form of its own in their mind”.

New Dawn is Charlies latest project where he hopes to draw the listener into a world of subterfuge and the unknown through a blend of actual play and audio drama cinematic scenes.
